Pickett Selected to Lead College Station ED
Emergency Service Partners, a founding partner of US Acute Care Solutions, is pleased to announce that Bryan Pickett, MD has been named the new Emergency Department Medical Director at CHI St. Joseph Health College Station Emergency Center, effective May 1, 2017. He assumes this role at the hospital-based freestanding ED following the promotion of Dr. Paul Goen to the position of ED Medical Director at the nearby CHI St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital in Bryan, TX. Dr. Brandon Lewis, in turn, stepped down from the role in Bryan earlier this year to accept the position of Vice President serving the northeast portion of USACS Southwest.
Pickett has served as an emergency physician in the Bryan-College Station area since 2012 and became assistant medical director at the Bryan ED in 2013. In January 2015, Pickett was named the ED medical director for both CHI St. Joseph Health Madison Hospital in Madisonville, TX, and CHI St. Joseph Health Grimes Hospital in Navasota, TX.
A board-certified emergency physician, Pickett is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University and went on to earn his master’s from the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Public Health. He earned his medical degree from the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and completed his residency training in emergency medicine at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple. In addition. Pickett is a 2013 graduate of ESP’s Leadership Academy.
